WmWifirouter doesn't broadcast ssid ?
Wmwifirouter works for bluetooth devices but doesn't broadcast a ssid for those that are using wifi and not bluetooth...
What's the deal here ? I installed this Wmwifirouter from the latest kitchen... |

Check your network settings, and look for the ssid broadcast or hidden option.

Re: WmWifirouter doesn't broadcast ssid ?
Now, I'm not using the newest version of WMWiFiRouter, but what I've noticed is that it's creating an Ad-Hoc (computer to computer) network, not an Infrastructure network (the type you get with a real wireless router). And, in my experience, Ad-Hoc networks don't usually broadcast SSIDs (I believe there has to be at least 2 devices connected to each other via the ad-hoc connection before it will broadcast). When I started using WMWiFiRouter, I had to manually set up the connection on the computer, telling it to connect to a non-broadcasting network and typed in the SSID manually. By default, WMWiFiRouter creates the ad-hoc connection with the same name as the app, but if you go into your WiFi settings on your phone, you can create your own ad-hoc, including WEP if you want it, and it will use that one.
