Mogul keeps turning on from standby
Lately I am seeing that my Mogul keeps turning on from standby even on battery and then turns off after power off time. I am not able to figure out why this happens. It doesnt show any notification etc when it turns on. Any Ideas?

Re: Mogul keeps turning on from standby
more than likely it's activesync.
simple fix= turn off "network time sync" in phone options or disable the repllog.exe notification after time updates (with dotfred's task manager) and set up dummy exchange account (127.0.0.1) and set it to manual sync (unless you use an exchange service.) |
Re: Mogul keeps turning on from standby
^ its not any of the above. I re-verified.

Re: Mogul keeps turning on from standby
hmm, you've checked weather/rss/email/ ect..
what are you using for a lock program? |
Re: Mogul keeps turning on from standby
It's because of going into roaming, even for a brief moment

Re: Mogul keeps turning on from standby
IDK about the roaming because mine sits here at my desk at work and will do it. My 6700 did it also. I do know it is communicating with the tower although IDK what it is communicating. There have been lots of threads about this in the past. Mine sometimes will also turn on and then go off when it times out and maybe come back on a few secs or even mins later and a TXT/MMS/VM will come through.
All I can say is although it may seem aggravating, it is a known occurance and 'somewhat' a normal one. |

I guess you could look at the display on the screen and see if it is going from EV to 1X or the "triangle" for roaming to verify.

Lately my mogul is waking up at 12:00 am. Don't know how long its been doing this. No programs running which should be updating. Signal is 1-3 bars EVDO at home.
