Camera Software?

I am using a camera from a kitchen. I don't remember which one. The problem with it is that there is no flash option. I don't like the look of the original camera interface. Is there an option for me to change it up to something different? I would actually go back the the cheap looking camera that came with the xv6800 just to have a flash again.
I don't want to flash again, is there a .cab file or something? Or is there a third party camera software?

Re: Camera Software?

I'm sure you can find the .cab file somewhere here. There are actually a couple of threads specifically for CAB requests. I know you said that you didn't want to re-flash, but it sounds like you may have installed the wrong camera module. I've flashed the 3 phones I've had nearly 100 times (a slight addiction, I suppose), and I've had problems every time I tried to use something other than the standard OEM camera module. FYI, I have also seen some camera .cab files out there that are for the Touch. It sounds like you may have loaded that into your ROM, as it doesn't have the flash.

Re: Camera Software?

Try this. I searched for a few minutes and this was all I found. It's apparently the original OEM camera for the Mogul, but it's not a CAB.

Re: Camera Software?

There is also a third party app called CoolCamera although IDK if it will replace the flash you are missung although you can still try and wont lose anything you dont already have.

Re: Camera Software?

Check out this thread. Someone may have had the same problem and found a cab. Seems like you can have both cameras installed.
