WiFi is not working after uninstalling WMwifiRouter Program

I installed WMwifiRouter. trial ran out and I no longer needed it so I uninstalled it. Now Wifi is no longer working. it is not picking up network even when I am sitting next to router.

Even though I have uninstalled WMwifiRouter, appearently my phone is still broadcasting network. (it is visible to laptop).

Anyway I can reset my Wifi connection settings (that were changed by this program) WITHOUT hard reset?

You have to remove the registry entries by Monrose because they can screw with your wifi. I also noticed that the theatering is not working and you have to reedit them after using wmwifirouter.

It's a nice program but still needs work

Re: WiFi is not working after uninstalling WMwifiRouter Program

reinstall WMWifiRouter, do the crash cleanup and then uninstall it again. I've heard that if you uninstall WMWifiRouter in a funky state, it can mess with your Wifi, that's probably what you're experiencing.

Re: WiFi is not working after uninstalling WMwifiRouter Program

I'm having similar issues. I installed and then tried to uninstall but was told the WIfiRouter clould not be completely removed. Where do I find all the Registry files?

I'm thinking maybe just tethering is a better idea.....
