I agree 100%.

I now have a Sprint TouchPro activated on Verizon & I love the thing, but I still have an xv6800 running nueROM3 that I'm keeping as a backup.

With nue3, that Titan is awesome & there are quite a few features of that phone that I really miss in the TP (like the scroll wheel). The 6800 really was a POS when it was new out of the box. I must have flashed it 20 times or more, but when I got to nue3 I stopped as it worked perfectly & I was 100% happy with it for the first time ever.

If the TP broke & I had to go back to that Titan for a while it definitely wouldn't be the end of the world for me.......

Like I tell all my friends who try to compare their iphone to my mogul..."the iphone is mass market device which has basic features for basic induviduals" The iphone is no comparison to a windows powered device. The iphone is pretty, easy to use and basic...which appeals to the "simpler" people.

True, updates did fix some bugs, but they also added more features, making the Titan that much better. As far as the Diamond and TP getting everything right, well the Diamond has no keyboard or external memory card. I might be able to live without a keyboard, but never with only 4gb of internal memory. The TP has no IR which I use at least a few times a week. Are they better phones that the Titan? Sure. But with the exception of tv out on the TP my Mogul can do everything they can. That's why I haven't upgraded.
Everything except run ostensibly more than 2 programs on the 18 mb free ram at boot. Sure, I have rev a browsing speeds, but even my ****ing IE is crashing after I set a 10 mb pagepool just to facilitate the undercompensation in nuerom3 for screen rotation. No doubt, he will fix this issue, and I can continue to run a windows managed dynamic pagepool, but the point is, 64 mb of ram is inevitably going to cause headaches to some.

Re: Titan picked as phone of the year... For 2008!

64 MB is not a lot... I had the Mogul, now I have a Touch Pro.. They may be able to perform the same features, but the Touch Pro does it in an elegant and exciting way..
