random reboots
 

HTC Mogul on Sprint
WM 6.1, factory
The phone is aprox 6 months old.

The phone will reboot at random times, sometime many many times in a row. Sometimes it will get into windows before the reboot, sometimes it will get no further than pulsing the vibrator before it reboots again.

There seems to be no pattern, sometimes it will go weeks with no problems, othertime it is worthless becuase it will not stay on.

I reinstalled WM 6.1 and the phone was fine for several weeks, then the problem returned.

Any ideas? Its driving me crazy.

I'm having the same problem as well.

I upgraded to the latest Sprint upgrades.
ROM: 3.56.651.0
Radio: 3.42.02
The reboots still happen.

But the system has got worse -- I cant let the phone go to sleep (either automatically hibernate or power off) because after sleep mode, the power button no longer works to turn the phone back on again.

I know this does not sound related but it has solved my random reboots. If you take the battery out of the phone and clean the contacts on the phone and the battery. The battery contacts on the battery of mine had got all dirtied up from swapping batteries so i scrapped them with an open paper clip till all the contacts showed fresh metal its kinda like a bronzish material that tarnishes over time I do this every so often and now my phone does not reboot or shut off by itself anymore.

finaly found a post with the same problem. has anyone found some resolution to this? i thought about possible battery issue .

well what ive noticed is that when i have a full charge the phone constantly reboots. about 40% or lower i have hardly any probs. im gonna try a new battery
