Htc Mogul 6800 Turns Off
 
I got my sprint htc mogul 6800 phone flash to metro pcs with internet, mms and gps working fine. I dont know what happend but (IT TURNS ON AND THEN THE SCREEN WILL GO BLANK , CANT TURN IT ON OR OFF WITHOUT TAKING OUT THE BATTERY. PLEASE HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!

i dont understand the question but when u turn off the screen the green flashing light will stay on letting u kow u staill have service. to turn it off look for an app call NUELED.

See if you can at least enter bootloader mode. Power Camera and Reset button.

If you get the tri-color screen then most likely a reflash will fix it.

You can also try a hard reset, this will keep your existing radio/rom/SPL loaded, it will just wipe clean anything you have installed or configured since it was flashed.

It should still leave it ready to go for metro-pcs, except you may need to loader their carrier cab.

If it still does the same thing after a hard reset, then I would say you will need to get it reflashed, something is corrupt in your rom.

it is because in the cold the static electricity builds up and shuts it off like that

True...

I posted about this about a month or two ago. I tried several experiments to support my claim and in fact, static electricity will cause the phone to shut off.

Solved my problem by sticking a fabric softner sheet in my pocket (my phone smells april fresh now) or using a belt clip.
