How can I make my MOGUL stay dialed up?
 

It used to stay dialed up.. but go into a dormant mode or something like that which would allow incoming calls when I was not passing traffic. For some reason now it just disconnects my data connection if I'm idle rather than keeping the connection but dormant. So after a bit if I have finished reading a webpage and I try to navagate, it has to dial up again. WTF?](*,)

I once stumbled upon a reg hack or something that enabled it to stay connected, but I can't find it at the moment. I didn't use it because mine WAS always staying connected.. but now it's not.

Have you messed with any reg hacks or maybe you should try a hard reset

I keep mine dialed up by keeping my push account on. If you don't have a push mail account you can set a free one up at live.mail2web.com.
Since it's always looking for new mail it keeps the inet connection live yet keeps it idle so that phone still works as a phone.

This is probably the easist way to do it without having to modify the registry.

Are you running a custom rom? or the stock rom?

Ok, since no one was able to come up with the answer, I found it over at XDA. Here it is:

isn't this gonna drain your battery faster? this is just like editing the reg for making your phone search for calls faster so theres no delay, but for data.. your battery life should go way down in my opinion..

as long as he doesnt leave his device awake he will be ok. If it is asleep and he only uses is for calls and text and turns it off he will be ok.
