And Everything Ive Read Says 2200 Is Really Not Much Different From The Normal One. I Can Not Even Keep Mine Going The Whole Day And I Dont Do Anything Out Of The Ordinary

You might have a bad battery.. I had that issue.. Got a replacement and the new battery was great..

if the screen is on full bright the whole day but it shuts off in 60 seconds and my email is checked every 30 minutes is that considered normal activity where it should be down to 5 percent by bed time or should it be more do you think

Re: 3000mAh Lithium BATTERY

The brightness is too high IMO, what are your setting for the IR beam?

This sounds about right for what you have listed and the amount of battery you have left by the end of the day

Re: 3000mAh Lithium BATTERY

When I ordered my HTC 6800 online, I immediately went to another online store and got 3600mAh battery. My phone is my only line and I enjoy using the PDA, GPS, WIFI, Bluetooth, etc. So, I really enjoy the larger battery, no complaints.

One thing to note about these is the replacement back cover plastic are not all the same. The larger 3600mAh has a rounded back cover and it's not as annoying to hold in your hands. The 3500 and 3200 batteries above seem to have more square edges on the cover. My old HTC 6700 had the more squarish back cover, it was not that bad, but I like the rounded one much more.

I am a running the 3500 and like the square back, it has a rubberized coating and fits in my case just fine. This battery will last me for quite awhile unless I am running the wifirouter.

Re: 3000mAh Lithium BATTERY

I just got a 2800mah extended with cover for $16 with fast shipping on eBay. The seller is 'batterymonster' and so far so good. I am still conditioning my battery, so I have no objective review of the battery life, but it sure seems to be lasting alot longer than my stock battery. As far as 'cheap' batteries go, it is pretty good quality. The cover fits well also.

For $16 can you go wrong?

Okay, so exposing my vulnerability to (accurately) being called ignorant, how do you "condition" the battery?

Does the phone "see" the whole 8GB? I thought I saw someplace where 4GB was the biggest this phone could address. (That ignorant thing just won't go away.)

Re: 3000mAh Lithium BATTERY

To properly condition the battery

1. Get out your favorite hand lotion.
a.) Rub the battery down till its completely covered.
a.) Let sit for 5 min repeat the process 5 times.
b.) Let dry.

2. Charge till the green light comes on.

3. Drain the battery till 0%.

Repeat steps 1-3 around 6 times to achieve best results.

you can skip step 1 if you don't have the lotion some say that is an unneeded step anyhow.

i have a random 2200 by ut starcom, 2400 some random brand and a seidio 3200. all great but i use the 2200 the most as it doesnt add as much bulk. the 3200 is really great on life but its so large. the 2200 by ut starcom has a smaller square pack in the rear which i dont like. ebay amazon all have these batterys avail.
