The article also said, "In order to do so, Sprint has decided to strip EV-DO Rev A from the initial release, and will offer a firmware update to enable it later this year." The device is currently expected to launch with Windows Mobile 6, making it the first Windows Mobile 6 Professional device to be released in the United States.

Question: any updates on when the PPC 6800 will be available. I would like to upgrade my 6700 to a new device and the 700wx is not an option I had one and found the screen to be to small and at my age my eyes cant read the screen for long periods of time. I don't have this problem with my 6700 and according to reports the 6800 will have the same size screen.

Correct. However, he has changed his article to reflect that it wil be the first CDMA device with WM6, and now people who noted that the Wing was the first are being told they are speed readers and need to read all of the facts before they comment. Such as myself... EL-Oh-EL
