q about 6700 vs 6800 backlight

sorry if this has been addressed, couldn't find it. any help is appreciated! my 6700 used to have a lowest backlight setting that turned the screen light off and it looked like an old lcd watch. useful if u are listening to music for an hour or two and still need to make a call after. my 6800 wont turn off and sips my battery dry. any fixes? thanks ya'll!

Re: q about 6700 vs 6800 backlight

The 6800 doesn't have the option to turn completly off when no backlight on. If you use Slide 2 Play then it can turn off the LCD and still play music.

Re: q about 6700 vs 6800 backlight

Nope. But, I actually like it though because it to used be a pain when someone would ask to see my Apache and would hold the power button down forever instead of just tapping it, then making the backlight go out, and I could no longer see the screen. The Mogul doesn't have that problem but if it did this would fix it. I like the brighter screen!
