HTC Titan = World Phone

well probably not, but it looks like the hardware would support it. Can anyone with a Titan/6800/Mogul/P4000 check to see if there is a SIM compatable slot in this device? Also can you confirm the Qualcomm Processor is indeed the MSM7500? If so, then the processor has both CDMA and GSM cellular capabilities....doubt it'll be available, but would be a nice surprise! Hey Verizon did offer the Samsung i830 with world capabilities, so just maybe.....

Comparison of the supposed Kaiser processor Versus the supposed Titan processor:

Remember that what the chipset can do is not always how the phone will come out. A good example is of the MSM7500's ability to have a 8MP camera on phones using the chipset, but the Titan only has a 3MP camera.

However, under the USB section, this got my attention:
"yes + Host mode (OTG)"

Host Mode would be extremely awsome to have. :)

The Titan does have the MSM7500.

UTSAFTW is absolutely correct in what he says, and his analogy is a very good one as well. The MSM7500 is capable of GSM if it is set up for it, but it is not. It is strictly a CDMA phone. There is no slot for a SIM card.

Thanks for checking Paragon. Oh well, the way these phones are becoming more and more integrated it won't be long before we have the functionality of the Titan, with the form factor and memory of an iPhone, plus keyboard and full GPS that'll work around the world....I can hope anyway, but the progress is promising....
