Flashing to ROM DCD 3.3.4?

i am going to flashing my phone with the new DCD 3.3.4. then i have the .cab files for:

GC VZW Arcsoft MMS v5.0.70.24
Grey HTC Opal CommManager v2.7.1.8
iContact BE v6.4.5 QVGA
PdG Smartdial Enabler
PdG TouchFLO 2D Dialer Letters v1.0
PHM Registry Editor v0.70
S2U2 v1.32 - QVGA
TomTom Nav v7.450.9028 Repack3 - VGA Black

Do i still have to install the verizon .cab file for my txt messaging to work? cause when i send or receive a picture msg it won't download?

Yes you need the verizion carrier cab or you will not be able to connect to the net and none of the # codes will work.
