Question Reassigning Button 1 POP3 Mail

Currently, I have a stock Alltel WM6.1 rom running Spb Mobile Shell installed on an Alltel HTC PPC 6800. I have Outlook as well as 2 additional POP3 (bellsouth.net) e-mail accts installed. My phone succesfully checks my POP3 mail regularly and notifies me.

I would like to reassign Button 1 (envelope imaged button towards the top left of telephone) so that it goes straight to specifically one of my POP3 accts. Currently, when I push Button 1, it always goes straight to my Outlook, requiring several more clicks with the stylus to get to the POP3 account.

Can this be done or do I have to delete the option of loading Outlook? I have looked around the Button program in the Settings menu but can't seem to find anything to do the job.

Thank you for any suggestions.

Re: Reassigning Button 1 POP3 Mail

I remember there being a setting somewhere to set your messaging to show all you accounts when you goto messaging..

when I hit messaging from the dropdown or the envelope tab it shows messaging;gmail; and yahoo.. 1 click and im where I need to go..

its like when you pick a picture and click send..the screen that shows up and says messaging, your email accounts, picture mail, post to service that's what shows up on mine..

It works now. Must have been a glitch. Thanks though!

Re: Reassigning Button 1 POP3 Mail

Well you have a couple of options...

When you hit the button and it takes you to your inbox, just scroll left or right and it will change account inboxes.

Or you could just turn on the account picker in the settings page.

In the inbox, menu>tools>options>check box that says "Display account picker when opening Messaging"
