verizon date?
 

i know i am in the minority...but anything about a verizon release date? thanks...

I asked a Verizon Rep the other day and she looked at me like she had NO CLUE what a 6800 was. I don't think it'll be anytime soon.

thats really sad. i hate the fact that i cant get a modern handset on verizon in a respectable amount of time. everything is delayed, always.

Rumors say some time in July. That is just rumor though.

I spoke with a verizon guy today. He said he saw it and it's mid summer. He said it's really sharp, I CAN'T WAIT !!!!!

I just checked the Verizon web site, and it shows the XV6700 to be out of stock. It's probably just temporary, but wouldn't it be nice if it were the first sign of upcoming changes?

We took the 6700 off display in our store this past week...

why is that?

also, when i tried the vzw website it doesnt say the 6700 is out of stock

Good question actually... The only PDA's on display right now are the TREO 700WX and the old Blackberry... We get the new blackberry in store on the 28th so that will prob replace the old blackberry... As far as the site showing stock that depends on what zip code you put in... we are low/out in the west and east but good in cental...

That fits, as I'm in CO.

I just checked the site again, and it shows the 6700 back in stock. Oh well... I've been waiting for this phone since Jan. so I should know better than to get my hopes up at this point.
