gps should still work, right?
The GPS on the mogul should still work, even if my service has been transferred to my new phone, right? The GPS is independent of cell service, right?
The reason I ask is that I got my new TP, but I wanted my Mogul to be of some use, so i figured i could use it as a standalone gps using TomTom. Unfortunately, I can't seem to get the gps to pickup a signal  .EDIT: nevermind. Last edited by grad20_09; 11-10-2008 at 06:18 PM.

Even without service to that phone you can use the device as GPS. GPS and WiFI and cell service are all independant of one another.

Well, I did something really stupid. I tried to get a lock from inside the house. Every other time (before I last flashed my phone to a clean rom) it would get a lock no problem. Well apparently that has changed. I put it by a window and bam, got a signal. I'm such an idiot. lol.
