Flash to stock for replacement?

So...I started seeing the infamous white spot(s) in the lower left corner of the screen on my verizon xv6800. I decided to go ahead and get a replacement since it's under warranty. I'm currently running no2chem's 5067. Do I need to flash back to the stock wm6 rom on this one since i'm sending it back? Will they be able to tell since it has a different splash screen, etc.

It is always in your best interest to put original ROM back on and relock it. They don't care much with the Apache's since it's so easy. But with the process of unlcoking and stuff, they will try and say you messed it up. Doesn't matter if it's hardware or software issues, they will make a stink about it.

And to add to it, technically everyone who unlocks and flashes voids their warranty. But they don't know that if you relock and use a stock ROM.

Thanks. So I have to relock also? And if at all possible could someone give me a link to the original verizon wm6 rom?

relocking is not very important.... they dont check

I wouldn't risk it. Just flash to the offical WM6.1 you can find.
