Sprint officially releases picture mail update for WM phones

Sprint has FINALLY released a picture mail update for their windows mobile phones (mogul,touch,ace,q9c). Go to softwarestore.sprint.com/wap from your phone's browser then free/demo then picture mail.

I found this out at my local sprint store. Enjoy!

Re: Sprint officially releases picture mail update for WM phones

Thanks for letting us all know, this will be so nice. Is anyone else having trouble with it though? I go to "configure picture mail" and while it is doing its' thing it comes up with an error "G66: There was an error trying to register your phone." I never set up pic mail before hand but I would think i would have to with this cab. P.S. I also get free pic mail through a grandfather clause< you think that might have something to do with it too?

Does your account say you have picturemail? Mine does. You may need to call sprint to get it put on your account.

Downloaded (and downloaded that barcode app to - why not) and installed. Reset. Note I did have picture mail noted on my account, and have had a picture mail before with my old vision phone, so I was already provisioned....

Launched Configure, tapped add, looks like it worked

Yep. Screenshots attached. Interesting!

Config set up

In image browser, send, Picturemail...

Re: Sprint officially releases picture mail update for WM phones

mine is working fine. The guy at the sprint store told me there were some minor bugs that were noted on the release documentation (ill post them up as soon as i can).

Once the app is configured you can go to your pictures folder and select media to upload or send. You can also go to messaging>>text>> then new picture message.

note: you guys might need to register your picturemail account at sprint.com/picturemail or call sprint and make sure you have picture mail on your plan.
