Re: Goodbye, Mogul, hello Touch Pro!
lack of hard buttons. for example, to send a text you have to press the screen at least 3 times and then type your message. with the mogul, zero: hit messaging button, left sofkey (new message), type message, left softkey (send). done. there are no hard OK buttons or softkeys on the touchpro. there are 3 ok buttons and 4 softkeys on the mogul lol.
touchflo3d is just bloatware. the old HTC 3-button home from the kaiser (i think that's where it's from) does everything that TF3D does, but is so much more straightforward. you can't stop the customizations from running on the TP after initial startup (it's so bizarre), so there's an incredible amount of junk on the phone (nobody's unlocked the extrom yet; the file system/registry is significantly different). opera comes preloaded as the default browser, and you can't change that. period. if you try to use IE, opera just opens up as soon as you enter a URL. sure the mogul is kinda clunky and the TP's screen blows it out of the water, but for me i have a winmo phone for functionality. the mogul can do everything the TP can do, but with a lot fewer frills and gimmicks. |

How does the display look? I don't send many text messages. How is the e-mail? I guess you have to type of a virtual keyboard?
