Phone as Modem Option for 6.1

Hello.. I was wondering is there anyway that the phone/internet sharing option could be used in the way that I am not being charged data usage charges... When I first got the mogul last year I was told by an Sprint rep and manager that my charges would be null if I had the $99 plan.. I found out last month that this was not true ... How can I make the phone act as an modem for my laptop but not incur data charges!!!

Either buy a feature or get a datacard.

i would search for connection sharing at the top of the page and read about things like the disable multi nai cab and forcing the connection to sprint pcs and not phone as modem and keep reading until i found out how to do that. thats just what i would do. you can start looking here http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=31896
