Preventing Sprint Apps
 

I know I have seen this thread last time I upgraded... It was something about restarting at a certain point when it was updating, or being able to select which sprint junk / software you want on the phone.

I know there is an explination out there, but I have been searching through threads for an hour... I am having trouble adjusting to the new "upgrade" forum that is seperate...

After you do the calibration and press skip a few times you will see the today screen with a message stating customization will start in 3-2-1. Reset as soon as you see that box.

You can follow the instructions above, or do this:

I'm not sure if it still works with the newer ROMs, but when the customizations are installing, look for 'prevent_uninstall.cab' and soft reset as soon as you see it. That way you can uninstall the Sprint crap from the remove programs menu.
