Re: 6800 and TomTom Nav Problem
search for bafs gps toggle. You might need it to "prime" the gps - it starts first, opens the gps connection and starts the gps device going, then it launches tom tom, which finds the gps all ready to go.
I used to have to do that on my 6800, but after updating to the most recent Sprint OEM rom, I didn't need it anymore - at least not with TomTom 6

Re: 6800 and TomTom Nav Problem
Thanks for the help. I installed the bafs gps toggle and it works great. BUT, I open TomTom Nav 5 and it starts normally, showing the Map and the triangle icon on the map -- everything looks fine, but it says NO GPS. Within a few seconds the GPS Activates and the map disappears leaving the gps cursor and a green background. Any additional help will be much appreciated. The GPS is active but the maps are now not displayed.
Thanks, Roger |
