Still not working. I think his USB port got damaged. I told him to take it back, he really doesnt want to. Is there a cab out there anywhere?

I recently had similar problem w/ my new mogul not being recognized by ActiveSync. After lots of searching around and found the following and now it's working perfectly. Try Start->Settings->Connections->USB to PC->uncheck Enable advanced network functionality

This worked for me. hope this helps

I would agree on that.....seeing that you tried it on 4 different computers it is more than likely damaged....

had the same problem. wouldnt be recognized by any windows pc (vista nor xp). not even by my mac. damaged usb port. just have to bite the bullet and take it in for replacement.
