Re: Issue with Mogul not working after being replaced 4 times...
Blkout,
I can totally relate with you. I've been having tons of trouble with my Mogul, and Sprint won't budge an inch. I think we missed the "free diamond/TPro" train. Sprint must've realized they're customers were up to something.... |

Sorry if I offended anyone but it peeves me when people can't use proper grammar and punctuation to a reasonable degree when writing a proper business letter.

On to the real issue this thread was created for... I sent in a different email to ecare and they ended up responding from the start with you can upgrade your phone and then we will give you a $75 credit. This of course I did not like as I had already paid and still didn't have a working phone. The last email I received was one that offered me the option to go out and buy the phone of my liking then they would credit my account back for the paid amount of the phone that I picked. Here is the email...Does this sound like the way to go? Dear , Thank you for your reply. I can understand the inconvenience that is being caused to you due to the handset issue. If you do not want to upgrade right now then you have to ways to resolve this concern. 1. You can get another replacement phone from Asurion and we will waive off the $50.00 charge. 2. I would suggest you this option. Just purchase any other phone of your choice and in the mean time I will send you a return kit for the present phone. Once the new handset is activated, just send us back the old phone and we will apply the entire credit for the new phone on the account. Thank you again for contacting Sprint. We appreciate your business. Sincerely, Rachell Customer Service Specialist Sprint |

Re: Issue with Mogul not working after being replaced 4 times...
Just got my refurb Mogul in today. The guy setting it up couldn't....The right side of the touch screen is non responsive. Needless to say he let me walk out of the store with it.
After calling CS, and Retentions, bottom line : Bring it back and get another one. I'm sure that one will work just as well... I've been battling this Mogul situation for almost a month now. I think Sprint hates me. |

Re: Issue with Mogul not working after being replaced 4 times...
I had a couple more emails p***** back and forth with the sprint rep and she said that the credit would be in full for the amount of the phone I purchased. She also stated that since I had purchased a phone from the and it didn't work from day that I was within my 30 days. In fact since the purchase that phone had already been replaced by another Mogul which I wanted but it as well did not work.
So, she told me to go back to the store and request another replacement of a different phone and ( Her suggestion ) was to do this until the touch pro came out or until I would be with in that window time frame. Keep in mind at no time did I say I wanted the Pro. I simply said I wanted a phone like mine which was supposed to be a top of the line product from Sprint. So, she suggested that I do this and get the Touch Pro. |

Re: Issue with Mogul not working after being replaced 4 times...
I had a similiar problem. I had 7 moguls in the past 9 months. This last time, the touchscreen completely died. The store I brought it too couldn't fix it (obviously) but didn't have any in stock to give me a new one. They had to order one, which they said would arrive in about a week.
At this point, I had had enough. It sucked in the past, but I was always able to get a new phone right away. I sent emails back and forth from ecare for a week, spent hours on the phone, and eventually the best they would agree to do is allow me to buy any phone at the new customer price. I chose the blackberry 8330... $100 new customer price, $569.99 MSRP. When I send back my mogul, they'll credit my account with $469.99... so I paid $100. I can then swap the blackberry out with any other phone and just pay the difference in MSRPs... so in the case of the Touch Pro, I'll pay $100 + $10 (difference in price). It took a lot of work to get that deal though. They kept offering me $50, or $100 towards the purchase of any new phone... but I paid $300 for the damn mogul 9 months ago. I felt the same as you... why should I have to pay nearly full price for another phone, when the first one I bought less than a year ago hasn't worked properly the entire time ? If they're willing to basically swap your mogul out for any new phone free, that's awesome. Congrats. |
