Alltel 6.1 GPS locked to AGPS only
 

The GPS is not working in Live Search or Google maps- just the Telenav app.

Is there anyway around this?

having same issue as well...google maps just says initializing then it says " gps receiver not found "

i had it working good before i flashed new altel rom...i tried all the gps fixes still nothing.....

Same issue here. The only way I can get Google Maps to work with the GPS is to use the Alltel Telenav application first. I too have tried the GPS fixes to no avail.

Just want to double check, did all your turn the location settings on. It is off by default.
Start-settings-phone-services tab-highlighted location setting - click get settings button and choose "on"

Does anybody have Gps working on the alltel rom?

there are alot of peeps with GPS working on the stock alltel rom, of you wish to have faster locks look here:> http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=36377 < Please make sure you have changed ur location settings to On, as noted before they are off by default.

Location Setting was the only thing I forgot. I noticed the same issue and was like WTH?
