down loaded SKYFIRE and i can get any sound

i down loaded skyfire web browser and its really cool......
but i cant get any sound when im trying to watch a video on youtube
does anyone know how this can be fixed
I Need sound for the videos!!!
please help!!!!

You might have the mute on by accident. In the lower right hande corner click "menu", go to "actions", click "mute"

I have noticed this as well. I have looked at everything on the phone and program that I could find with no luck. I have been looking at Skyfire's user fourm and it seams that it is a known issue without a fix as of yet.

Do you have the phone set to vibrate only? that will kill the sound. Otherwise skyfire works great out of the 3 builds I have used.

This is a known issue with the latest release. Its believed to be a server issue and not on your phone. If you log out and back in a few times you will eventually get a server that has the sound working on it. I would expect them to have this fixed pretty quick.

Make sure that you are notifying the good folks at Skyfire about any problems you may be having. Because Skyfire is still in beta it's up to us users to identify and then notify them about any bugs, glitches, etc.

Hi, I'm a moderator at skyfire.com 's forums. If you have no sound, first check the following:

1.) That you have nothing plugged into the device's mini-usb port
2.) That your SYSTEM (not ringer) volume is turned up.
3.) That "mute audio" isn't selected under the ACTION menu in skyfire

Assuming those things are fine, then we have seemingly identified that some servers seem to be passing audio and others not. So please, if you're having these issues still, go to Menu-Help->About in skyfire, and check what Server ID you're on. Record the troublesome server ID here:

Where we are tracking server ID's that seem to cause this issue. Thanks for your patience.

i did this last night and it worked.

i noticed with the latest release that the sound was muted by default.i unmuted it and so far it has been worrking fine for me.btw skyfire kicks ***.

I've had this problem. The only fix I've noticed to work it is this: Uninstall, reinstall, softreset.

If there's still no sound, uninstall/reinstall again, and it usually works for me. A pain, for sure, but Skyfire's nice.
