Core Player - Audio on but Video is not showing

I have TCPMP working just fine but I like the look & feel of CorePlayer much better but for some reason, I'm getting only audio and no video. I've tried .avi files & Youtube and they are both blank screens? I tried reinstalling in the device as well as the storage card with no success. Can someone help?

Isn't Coreplayer like TCPMP only better because it's being developed?

Menu/tools/preferences/ video change the video output to direct draw or raw frame buffer....you should now get video .
