When the phone wakes up for any reason, S2U2 shows a lock screen - all buttons are disabled (or you can have the dpad enabled) - you must then swipe a slider across the touch screen with your finger or stylus (or press dpad right for a second or so) to unlock the screen & buttons. Just like the iphone/ipod touch. Hence "slide to unlock."

The practical effect is, if the phone wakes up in your pocket, *and* somehow the slide action happens, you might want to take a close look at whatever is living in your pocket
I wish these apps came with instructions - I've loaded it up but now trying to figure it out. What is ilock2? When I tap it - "it says ilock2 and s2u2 closing"

Settings - what's the diff between "lock when device wakes up" and "lock when screen is blank"

then there are tabs for "but Blank Screen only" and "Blank screen on talk"

I'm sorry but I a newbie on this stuff.

Thanks.

ilock2 is run automatically. When you adjust the settings thats when you tap ilock2 to restart it but other than that it runs in the background when you reset so its always on.
I havent quite figured those lock when settings either and Ive been using it for a while. It all seems to do the same thing.
Basically install s2u2
adjust the settings how you want
then tap ilock2 to close it and retap it to restart it.(wont show any confirmation upon restart) Or you could just soft reset.
Then when ever your device is off its locked. I have it to lock when I hit the power button to put it to sleep. Then when it rings or I hit the power button to wake it up its locked.

You can adjust some other settings through the registry. I have mine to not show am/pm but not be in army time either. And to just show the day of the week not the full date.
