What Kind of Case, Gel or Skin are You Using to Protect Your Mogul/VX6800?

If you are like me... you've searched the internet for a neat way to protect your all-important Pocket PC. You've no doubt bought at least one of the eGrips, or perhaps a rubberized version of the Seidio P6800 case (with matte-black or clear front piece)... and if you got that - then, surely you had to purchase the matching belt clip, as you couldn't use the original clip, since the device was a tad larger now and surely wouldn't fit in that old clip. I recently was shown the new Otter Box rubberized case for the Blackberry... very kewl. A call to their wholesale rep rendered a comment that they are still considering making one for our VX6800 devices, just - they haven't gotten around to doing so. There IS a company offering an adhesive gel skin... that is die-cut to fit the back panel, as well as various front face featues, including buttons, etc. - only, it is - for the most part - just for the Sprint device... since the D-pad keys for the Verizon Wireless VX6800 - for example - isn't the same footprint and size as that which is offered on a Sprint phone of the same design.

So - my question to my fellow PPCGeekers... what protective device do YOU use - to cover your handy VX6800/Mogul/personal assistant...!? Oh yeah, and why...?? Photos of your device - with its favored protection would also be appreciated...!

Thank you for your very kind consideration!

Be safe!

I am using the Seidio rubberized case and holster. Love it. I dropped the phone onto cement and there are a couple small dings in the case, but my phone is completely un-injured!

Boxwave has a nice holster and at $5-something, it is a great price! If they had a case that would match and fit into the holster, it would be killer!

No Case.
Can get mine replaced up to once a month for free (besides the fact that buttons wear out and the ubiquitous vibration-wear-whitespot, it helps to have the $7 addon and know a repair technician : )

If I REALLY need one, I only use back of the black Seidio Rubberized Hardcase.

I just put it in my pocket, and use a palm screen protector.

I have only the back of the Seidio black rubberized case. The front broke and I really don't want to pay for another one.

I really do like the idea of the invisi shield. Does anyone on here have it? Especially the part about keys in your pocket scratching it.

I just wonder how well it works. I am terrible at installing screen protectors.

Other than the screen protector, I use nothing.
I've dropped my mogul a half a dozen times, one time so bad the battery fell out and I had to crawl under my car to get it - it's still ticking.

Re: What Kind of Case, Gel or Skin are You Using to Protect Your Mogul/VX6800?

Be careful of your invisible shield, I had some streaks or somesuch on mine that I just couldn't clean off... We'd just received some high potency rubbing alcohol at the office, 90%+ I think.. so I figured, "That's gotta get it, right?" Grabbed a q-tip and gave it a try. Well it cleaned the gunk, but it was too harsh on the shield and introduced new streaks imbedded into the material. Soooo, I'll let'cha know how their replacement policy works when I get a new one shipped. :/

Re: What Kind of Case, Gel or Skin are You Using to Protect Your Mogul/VX6800?

Hi!
I want to buy extended battery (3600 + special back cover), but as i just read that my stock case from Mogul won't work for me
Is there special case for Mogul with 3600 battery?
Seidio had one?
Thanks!
