Any ideas?

I just got off the phone with Verizon tech support and for some BS reason they wont transfer my alltel phone to the verizon network. they gave me some line about "its not on there list." anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? all i need is an ESN push. does this mean they have violated there TOS agreement? what options do i have?

Until the buyout completes I'm not surprised. Try calling them back and just ask for an ESN change and see what they say. Don't give any other details. Did you buy this aftermarket or what?

Or go to a store, VZW is supposed to access other CDMA devices now away. There was a lot of talk about this some weeks back and while I was trying to get info about the Diamond from a girl at a VZW Kiosk I know, she confirmed they do accept other CDMA devices now.

phone was purchased off ebay. was told that it had to be sent out to be programmed to vzn. sent it to tech support(per there advice) and they were spose to send it out to be programmed. tech "claims" he called and left me a voice mail on the 4th but no record of phone call or voice mail. he called me yesterday and stated "it cant be programmed because its not on our list" and that was all that was said. gonna try and flash it to original vzn rom and update and see what happens. closest vzn store is 60 miles away, which is why they had me ship to them instead of just going to the store and having them ship it out. i did go to the vzn store first and they had no clue as to what i was talking about. even pulled up the conversation i had with vzn tech support and saw where they advised me to take it to the store.
