Have you tried this one yet. I like it alot and it has big buttons for the touch screen. I do not know if it will work on your phone or not but check it out.

Re: Alarm Clock ring forever

I just use the built in one and set it to repeat. It's under Start->Settings->System->Clocks and Alarms->Alarms I believe.

This is working well on my VZW 6800. I was using AlarmClock, but this is much better. Plays my music, very flexible, many alarms, many options for length of time to play, auto snooze, # of repeats. Great, Thanks.

Be careful of conflicts between Advanced Configuration tweaks that may get erased by using the built in "Windows Alarm Bug" fix. Probably just use one or the other.

If alarms are important, I would install them to main memory. 2 less things to go wrong: Finding the card, and the delay before the card is found.

Re: Alarm Clock ring forever

I use pTravelAlarm. The max time that the alarm will sound is 30 minutes.

Re: Alarm Clock ring forever

galarm did not work right in my Titan. It looked cool & I set a couple alarms.

The first time an alarm went off, the volume was so low I could barely hear it & I couldn't shut it off (I had to reset the phone to get it to turn off)

I have always used SPB time & maybe that conflicted with it.

Re: Alarm Clock ring forever

I also am having problems since updating the ROM to WM6.1. For years I have been using Alarmx from MTUX. It is a clean simple program that never failed me on my 6700 or 6800. I can't get The alarm will not go off in the morning. Test it now for an hour later and such it works fine. Alarmx won't install in WM6.1, G-Alarm or SpoonAlarm don't go off. I wake up, wake the phone up and it then starts going off or showing notifications that an alarm was scheduled!! I will try the old basic alarm tonite. Anyone know if spbtime works with 6.1 or what the issue with 6.1 is? Also since switching to 6.1 my PPC volume always starts out half down after a soft reset...anyone know how to get it to start out at full vol?

I am using SPB time in two different xv6800's with WM 6.1 & it works just fine.

One system is running DCD's 3.2.6 & the other is nue3.

It sound to me like it is trying to make it happen, but an auto shut off interrupts it. If you use Advanced Configuration, see if the 15 second defaults are checked, and change both settings to the recommended 60 seconds. These are registry edits which can be set in many tweak programs, or manually if you are comfortable with regedits.

I use G-Alarm, previously used Alarmclock. Both seem very reliable if the settings are correct.
