I just started receiving MMS ( Picture Messages ) Out of the blue! I'm on MetroPCS
 

I Searched and changed my MMS settings on arcsoft and in the registry a few weeks ago. It never worked. Suddenly, today i started receiving! Still cannot send. Anyone receiving mms out there??? I will post my Metropcs server settings if someone needs to test.

Here we go:

You should go straight to a Registry editor, and find:

HKLM > SOFTWARE > Arcsoft > Arcsoft MMS UA > Config > mm1

There you have a Five digit number folder and another one called WspHeader

Start from the Five Digit. Mine is 96545

Gateway: mms.metropcs.net
Gateway Port: 3128
MmscURI: mms.metropcs.net/mmsc
Name: MPC

Now goto WSpHeader:

There you'll se a key calle X-Alltel-MDN or X-VZW-MDN whatever was the previous carrier. Edit the Key and Rename the Value to X-MPC-MDN, make sure your 10 digit phone number is in this key as well.

Now, Goto HKLM > SOFTWARE > Arcsoft > Arcsoft MMS UA > Config > UI

Change the key called Domain to : mms.metropcs.net/mmsc

And that's it. That's what I did and it worked.

PS: If you have more that one five-digit folder in the above registry, is because you have more than one MMS server in your arcsoft software. Go there and delete them. leave just one. Let me know if works for yall too.

Conejopr, follow all the instructions by bossman23 here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=35825 you'll be fine. But dont skip steps, i did and it never worked. The day that i followed one by one, it worked fine!

well i have alltel and ppl said that the 6800 can send them but couldnt get them but i was just curious and had someone send me a pic and video and i got it and then i sent it back just to there number like a regular phone and it worked.. i was suprised....

thats funny.i also started recieving mms from my verizon buddies and i didnt make any setting changes.
