Internet Tethering with verizon randomly disconnects
 

Okay, here's the setup...

HTC Titan
Verizon Wireless
$45/mo Unlimited Data Plan
USB Cable
Internet Connection Sharing


When I tether my phone to my laptop, the data connection will randomly drop, and the Internet Sharing window will just say "Disconnected".

Sometimes (about 50/50) I can just click "Connect" and it will reconnect without issue... The rest of the time, it takes a few tries...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try WMWiFiRouter, I just traveled from my home in Colorado Springs, Co. to San Francisco, Ca through Las Vegas and back home, and never lost my internet connection on my laptop!
it worked very, very well, and i highly recomend it. its not free! but its worth the 29.99

I have this problem alot too. However I find that immediately after a soft reset it works great with no drops. I know this isn't a great answer but it gets the job done!
