New ROM and Voice Command

Hi,

I haven't upgraded to the latest ROM yet because I am concerned is Voice Command will work on the Mogul after the ROM update. The Mogul required a file patch (provided on this site) that fixed the VC problem (caller-id etc.). Does anyone know if that patch works with this WM 6.1 ROM and VC? If not, is there a new Voice Command patch?


I have everything finally working so well--thanks to all of you on this forum who have provided great fixes and work-arounds--that I am hesitant to upgrade before I check on this problem.

There's no patch or anything to get Voice Commnd functioanlity, including caller ID and text notification. You simply need to install build 19209. Which is NOT the retail build. You'll need to get this from "other" sources, like torrents etc.

You could also just use a custom kitchen, I have the lastest sprint radio, then installed no2chems kitchen(did some minor tweaking to my own customization) I have the microsoft voice command and it works great. If you need more info just pm me

Agreed. Try learning to play with Kitchen. With some reading it isn't so bad.
