Recovering Contacts
 

Does anyone have a solution to recover contacts from the Mogul? I recently replaced the user's ppc and apparently he was not syncing his contacts to Outlook. The contacts in his Outlook were old and out dated. The replaced unit some how lost all his contacts when I went to try to sync it to replace the old contact list. Now the old and new units have his old contact list.

If he wasnt synching with O2K3/7 or using PIMBackup or saved his pim.vol then you are have nothing. Did he ever do a backup of any kind with something like SPB Backup? If not then there is nothing to be done.

He didn't do any other kind of back up. I pretty much figured there would not be much I could do but I figured I would ask anyway.

Could his contacts have been dumped because he had a password protected profile? There are no rules set up in Exchange mobile devices.

Doubt it because it doesnt seem likely but can answer 100% because I dont do exchange and so IDK for sure.
