My phone has gone too far, I have to reflash and start from new...

Ok guys let me tell you some things that don't work on my phone

GPS

BlueTooth (Won't turn on)

Videos (As in streaming media like youtube, won't work)
Tried youtubeplay, core, tmcp+flash bundle, 4+ video things, ect

Email won't work

+ couple of other things

Internet works...but what's internet without watching videos?

Before All of this worked when connected to my PC perfectly, but I did something and now it doesn't even do that, and I need to restart my phone

I have HTC Mogul 6800 flashed to cricket. I baught it preflashed at an indian phone dealership for 300 dollars

Here are some infos of my phone

Rom version: 3.35.651.2
Rom Date 2/22/08
Radio version : 3.35.04
Protocol version : Don't think its important
Hardware version : 0003
PRL version : Important? I don't wanna give away priv info
Browser version : MSIE 6.0

I just feel left down, my full potential of my phone is dead until i fix it.

Please guys, you know how I feel. I want to reset, but I don't know a bit about flashing, and am hella scared if I mess it up, it's gameover.

Can someone please to god help me? I know only way to get my phone good again is to restart from new, but the dang thing is flashed and I don't want to mess things up!

Someone please help me do this right please?

Just download the ROM off of HTC's website and follow instructions.

Did you ever flash the phone the last time you had a three page thread about how to do it?

re-read this thread:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=35112

or this one that you were directed to last time still might help:
Step by Step tutorial for unlocking your device and cooking your own ROM!!!

Wait.. why not just do a HARD RESET on it? Should restore it to the original state it was in when you bought it... unless it wasn't working when you purchased it. If that's so then you would definently want to try and reflash it.. but do a hard reset first. you do that by holdin down the two "soft buttons", those are the ones that just have the white dots above the phone pick up and hang up bottons.. and by pressing the reset button at the same time. The reset button is underneath your phone, beneath the flash card slot.

Peter is right if you do a hard reset it will get your phone back to the way it was when you purchased it.

If you screwed things up, couldn't you take it back to where you purchased it and they would get you running again too?

Seriously, do the hard reset, it's the right place to start, before flashing...

Re: My phone has gone too far, I have to reflash and start from new...

1. It doesn't matter what carrier you use, a hard reset will put the phone just as it was after the last flash done to it.

2. The information in the "Step By Step Tutorial" I directed you to in my previous post should work for Cricket.

3. If you want hand-holding help flashing the phone with a new ROM; at the top of this page, click on "CHAT" and you will find very knowledgeable people willing to walk you through it step-by-step as you do it.

4. If you are so afraid to flash the phone, don't keep starting threads asking how to flash the phone. Instead, go back to the rip-off dude you bought the phone from and pay him the $50 he said he would charge to fix it, but first get him to promise that he will get everything properly working for that $50. In writing if possible.
