random blue icon
this is not the first time it has happened, i get a random blue icon that looks like a triangle right next to my EV icon.. i cant click on it and i am not sure what it means or why it comes up.. any ideas?

also, my phone seems to turn on randomly, but nothing is running in the background.. anythoughts on that one?

That icon is the digital roam icon. It will wake your phone up when you go into roam too.

but it does nothing when i try to click on it..

no, my phone wakes up randomly, even when everything is off. it also seems to take a long long time to send a txt. i mean, people will get txt messages 10-15 min after i send them.. and its not just one person.

It's not suppose to do anything when you click it... It's just letting you know that you are in a digital roam area.... And roaming does decrease the radio's performance....

i have been having my phone's screen turn on randomly too. its gotta be something with a rom, at least thats what i would imagine... 3.2.6 here, and im pretty sure this has never happened to me before. at least not consistently enough for me to notice it like i am now.

i have no idea what it could be, but my 6700 used to do it all the time. it seems like everytime i mess with the rom this happenes..

my 6700 and my 6800 both randomly turn themselves on. i have noticed that it tends to happen in the same places when i'm driving. i assume that it happens when i lose/gain service.

That is exactly it. Everyones phones should do that. When you lose service and get back into it or go into roam ( blue and white triangle icon in taskbar) your phone will come out of standby.
