searching content (within .doc, .pdf) on an SD card
 

hello,

it doesn't appear that with the FIND function, that I can search content on the sd card ... I would specifically like to search for content contained within .pdf, word files, and if possible REPLIGO files (smaller than pdf, nicer app to use than adobe).

any suggestions would be great!

here's the app you want... it's FREE and works perfectly on my Touch with wm 6.1... displays all directories (main and sd card) in a standard windows directory format... you can also delete files, rename etc within the directory view.

I misunderstood your quest... you want to search for text within a file??? Try Total Commander... it's FREE. Here's the link... (if that's not what you want, do a search at the site for more utility apps):

Total Commander has a FIND FILE function. Within the function you can search by a word within the file.

Before I install....

it says can search TEXT, will the application search within pdf s too?
