new release kills vc 1.6

Has anyone experienced losing the vc 1.6 " announce incoming callers name" on their mogul since loading the new firmware? Rainfreak got me through the process with wm6 and now I have loaded 6.1, the voice commander did it againg. Wonder if the same fix rainfreak sugested will work with this firmware

I was wondering if you guys could help me im new at this.never know u could do this stuuff.But i got a sprint mogul 6800 flahed to cricket and was wondering if maybe youguys knew like a updated rom that i could use or point me in the right direction.If u could that be great

I did the same thing when i came on the site. but you have to go to search to see if your questions can be answered first or youll be in trouble with the smart guys on here and im sure not one of them

i have 1.60.4622.0. i cant even tell from these numbers which version is higher. it seems like mine is higher.

I followed overwrite now phone locks up when I hit settings

you need 1.6.19209 which is not available through normal channels - there are versions of it floating around on the internet but as this is commercial software ppcgeeks does not allow us to post it here (even though there is no legitimate way to get a working version). this version is ripped from various devices with it preinstalled as an oem - it used to be posted on xda-developers but they made them remove it as well.... you can still find it if you look around.
