Killing ActiveSync

Is there a way to killing activesync? Heres my situation. I reset my phone and automatically activesync runs and i get about 22MB free of memory. I always go ahead and end activesync in the task manager. well after a few minutes (dont know how long in reality) up pops up active sync again and eating away my ROM. i keep ending activesync manually but just keeps coming on itself. any hack or regedit to make this not come on at all only when i feel like connecting it to my PC. this is annoying.

Re: Killing ActiveSync

create an activesync account
then change the time to manual
then delete the account. now it wont come back to bite you

After doing this make sure you go and change your time sync settings too.

Start>Settings>Personal>Phone>Services>Time Synchronization

hit the "Get Settings" button and make sure you uncheck the "Time Synchronize with mobile network automatically" box

If you do both of these things and soft reset, Active Sync shouldn't be running when your phone starts up again
