Some, ONE calendar appointment from outlook time wrong

Okay, not sure where to post this,

I sync with my outlook on a laptop. I have ONE calendar event in outlook that is syncing EIGHT hours off. In outlook it is listed at 15:30 PST. On my mogul in the calendar it shows up at 07:30.

This is the ONLY calendar event that is doing this, all other 100's of events, appointments, meeting requests, etc are fine.

Is there some way to edit this, or audit why THIS one is so off. I have deleted it on the phone several times and yet boom, it shows up at 07:30 over and over again.

Re: Some, ONE calendar appointment from outlook time wrong

i seem to recall this possibly being an issue after the time change in 2007: if you didnt update your Outlook or your desktop properly, then it might give you problems with appointments. maybe this particular appointment didnt get updated properly. do you remember running the DST update last year? might find more info at the following link:

Re: Some, ONE calendar appointment from outlook time wrong

I am having a similiar issue. All of the calender events on my phone show up 5 hours earlier than they do on my computer. The times on the computer are correct. Both my computer and my phone are set to the Central (GMT - 6) time zone.

I have gone as far as doing a hard reset and then re-syncing my phone. The problem still exists after doing that though.

Does anyone have any other ideas on how to fix this?

In Outlook, try Tools>Options>Preferences>Calendar Options>Time Zones and verify that there is not a time zone override set.

Thanks, but I had already tried that. It appears that it was something with the individual events themselves. I created a new appointment on my computer with a time of 12pm. When it synced to my phone, it was at the correct time (12pm).

The "fix" I found was to change something (start date, time, etc...) in each of the events that was showing up wrong on my phone. When the phone was updated with the changes, everything was fine.

I had a similar problem too. Only for me it would put the appointments on a completely different date. Did a hard reset and the problem went away, never really did figure out what was causing it though, but it hasn't come back either...
