email problem "incoming email password"

Mogul 6800 email problem - about every 4-5 minutes I keep getting a screen titled "incoming email password" - it is the one which you enter your email ID and password - both are already entered so I just click "ok". The "save password" box is unchecked so I check it - but when the screen reappears that box is again unchecked?

I'm on comcast. the mogul is very stock with the next to last rom update.

It's very annoying - I've reloaded that email account several times and have changed my password but it still happens al the time.

any ideas?

thanks.

Jack

Re: email problem "incoming email password"

I had that same issue with my VZW 700WX, though not with the same frequency you've reported. A soft reset would take care of the issue temporarily, but ultimately it was a custom ROM flash that did the trick. It was Landon.Epps Custom ROM (Verizonized). I don't think that particular one will work for you, as it's a WM5 ROM, but you might try looking for something WM6 based.
