HTC PPC6800 ROM Update

I would like to update to one of the iPhone Themes I see on the site but I cannot find the proper ROM update to do so. I currently am running the 2.14.671.3 ROM version and the 1.40.00 Radio Version, could someone please direct me to the correct download for this update. Also which iPhone theme would you guys/gals suggest?

Wow, that's a rather old ROM.

I think you should get your Mogul onto the latest Sprint GPS ROM before going any further/messing with any custom ROMs...

Well I am actually on Alltel but from what I understand the Sprint ROM will work on my phone correct?

yes the sprint rom should work on your phone just don't let the customizations run. soft reset before it runs.

So do I need to install the Radio first or the ROM first? I was told to install the GPS enabled radio first then I can install whatever ROM I would like. I'm currently a point where I'm going to install a radio now and is this when I press the reset button for the soft reset as to not allow the sprint radio ROM to completely install?

No, install the ROM update first. The current ROM is 3.56.651.0, the latest Radio is 3.42.50, you'll need to unlock your Mogul to flash the radio so you'll need "nueSPL 2.47". The search engine is your friend. After you install the new Rom, it's gonna say "About to begin Customizations", that's when you soft reset by using your stylus on the reset button. Post if you need further instructions.

I'm sorry I am very new at this, I didn't see the "About to begin Customizations" line come up on the screen, I have run the "nueSPL 2.47" and then at that point I started to install the ROM 3.42, but I cannot find the ROM 3.56, can you help more please?

You'll see it after you install the Rom, http://www.htc.com/us/SupportDownloa...cat=2&dl_id=73 which should be done before unlocking with nueSPL. This is the Sprint rom which should work on your phone, download it to your desktop PC, connect your phone and establish an active sync connection, then just run the RUU by double clicking on it. After it installs it will reset. thats when you'll see a pop up box saying "About to begin Customizations" and before it does, reset with your stylus. Now you're ready to unlock your phone with nueSPL 2.47 & a SD card and update your Radio to 3.42.50. If you have not allready, download the Radio here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=415364 uncompress with WinRar or other, unlock your Mogul with nueSPL 2.47, then copy TITAIMG.nbh to your SD card. Start your phone in Bootloader mode by holding down the "Power" and "Camera" buttons at the same time and pressing the reset button, you should be in 2.47 bootloader, now hold down the "Power" and "Camera" buttons and press reset again. Your Radio will be updated!...btw, the SD card has to be less than 2gb and formatted FAT32.

Hello....I have an Alltel 6800 as well, and would like to update the ROM and Radio software to the most up to date versions. However, I am not able to find them. Is there anyone on here who has the link to those versions? Please advise. Thanks!
