Bluetooth paring?

I just bought a blue ant, and I guess I should have checked compatability first because it's not pairing. Any tricks?

Re: Bluetooth paring?

I have a Blue Ant headset that paired with my Sprint PPC6800 Mogul, A.K.A. HTC Titan. I had no problem pairing, but everyone complained about the poor quality audio. I upgraded to a later version of firmware, but did not help. I sent the Blue Ant back under warranty and they replaced it with a newer version, but no change. Everyone still complained. I then purchased a Jawbone II and it has superior audio noise cancellation and functions much better overall, as compared to the Blue Ant. I liked the way the Blue Ant fit my ear better than the Jawbone II. The Jawbone II has to be just right in my ear or it will fall out. I use the wire ear piece without any padding. However, the trade off for better sound offsets the marginal ear fit.

As, for pairing, I have never had a problem pairing any device to the Mogul. You might delete the connection profile from the phone and start over, letting the phone search and find the headset. Also, make sure you enter the same password as the deault password of the Blue Ant.

Hope this helps your situation.
