Re: HTC PPC6800 ROM Update

Wrong Lagniappe. That is for Sprint.

You'll have to do a Google search and it may take browsing a few times but search for Alltel 3.35 ROM PPC6800 and it should pop up a download link. HTC removed it a while back. After flashing that, then I would do the 3.42.50 as outlined in post 8.

Also, I will say that I had the Sprint ROM and it messed up my roaming on any Sprint towers saying my autentication code was invalid. So my advice is to NEVER flash another carrier's ROM onto your phone as it can mess up things like data, roaming, and overage fee charges. If all you want is a nice WM 6.1, I can probably cook one up that is decently stable from 20273 with minimal features and some nice tools.

Re: HTC PPC6800 ROM Update

I have a vx6800 and just reinstalled TITAN_ALLTEL CU ROM from Dcd. After install it stops at the "Tap Screen to set up your windows mobile-based device" Which aligns the screen (click "x") anyway the screen does not work after reinstall??? Can't not click the screen.
