Where do you keep it?

I've seen some threads on memory management and such but am wondering where you all keep your stuff?

I currently don't have a card but will soon purchase one. (any suggestions - ones to avoid)

I am wondering whats ok to store on the mem card and what should not be on it for my phone to work efficiently.

IE: themes/ringtones/music/games/etc.

TIA

Re: Where do you keep it?

SanDisk is a good choice for SD cards. As for what to store on them, pix, ringtones, music are fine. You can store most apps on your card. However, those that you device accesses @ startup may not be ones you want to store on the card. This is due to the fact that it takes your device a moment to read the card once it's in startup. Some apps will tell you on their webpage whether or not putting it on the card is recommended.

Re: Where do you keep it?

To boil down Geekcop's statement...as a rule of thumb if it runs on your today screen stick it in device memory. Everything else can go to your storage card.

late,
Coz

Re: Where do you keep it?

I install everything to the device. I keep copies of everything on my SD. Just like how I run my Windows PCs.
