News Feed on Today Screen

Is there any plugin that would permit for a news feed on the Today screen of the XV6800, preferably to do with Politics? You know, something like a CNN or CSPAN RSS feed, but broadcast onto the today screen and organized nicely. I did a few searches and didn't come up with much, hopefully someone could help me. Thanks.

Thanks for the quick reply TMZ, I tried it out and while it's a pretty simple line by line feed, it's not half bad. It'd be nice if it updated more often though. Let's see if anyone else has any suggestions.

Re: News Feed on Today Screen

I use SPB Insight and get CNN rss feed. Its has a nice today plugin. Only problem is you have to manually update it but they are going to fix that in the next version.

Re: News Feed on Today Screen

I just installed the free Pocket Express thing from the sprint frontpage (when you first go into internet explorer..if you haven't changed your homepage). It actually put a news ticker on my today screen, along with weather and stocks. It's not great, but check it out, might be something that you'll like. I personally took it off, but thought about keeping it for a second.

How much did it cost, and was it customizable to set your own rss feeds?

I was using viigo for my rss feed, and I really like it, but if I could get something on my today screen I would be a very happy boy.

It is free, it is a update from sprint. You can go to the sprint website and download. I had it for about a week, I took it off also.
