What's the fastest way to start a VPN Connection?

There has got to be an easier way to do this.. Unfortunatly, VPN is three letters and is too small to search for here
So I'm writing " Virtual Private Networking " here so that maybe someone else will find this.

Anyway to launch a VPN connection I'm going to Start -> Settings -> Connections Tab -> Connections Icon -> Under the VPN Connection hitting "Manage Existing Connections -> VPN Tab -> Selecting the VPN Connection and "right clicking (hold until context menu pops up) and hitting "Connect".

This seems SO inefficent and buried I figure there has to be an easier way, but I can't find it! Anyone have a suggestion! Thanks so much!

I would use a VPN but I cannot find any way to use EAP authentication with certificates

When my company used basic authentication, I connected the same way you are, and it was a huge pain in the ***.

Re: What's the fastest way to start a VPN Connection?

Well I got a little closer to "faster". I found you can make a shortcut to various control panel applets. Create a .lnk file with the following contents:
44#ctlpnl.exe cplmain.cpl,24

and you'll get a shortcut to the "Connections" control panel/icon. Shaves off half the clicking at least, I'll just leave that in my start menu....

Still trying to do it quicker..
