xv6800 windows mobile 6.1 upgrade?
 

hi guys I am new to this forum. I have been looking around all day and am getting more and more confused. is there an upgrade yet for the xv6800 to go to windows mobile 6.1 yet and if so where the hell is it. I read some threads here telling how they did it, I tried to follow but kept hitting dead ends, Finally I got the error 294 wrong vendor id when I did try to download from a thread.Please help, thanks.

Do you mean like a Stock ROM? It would be on the HTC website if it were. Learn to cook your own ROM in the Titan Upgrades section. :)

There is no "Official" update for Verizon to get 6.1 (yet). What is available are several Roms and Kitchens that let you load 6.1 onto your phone. They also activate the GPS ability in the phone, though it is not as fast locking as Sprint.

Check the upgrade forum, it is a sub forum of this one. You can find info on flashing your rom, updating your radio, and all the risks associated with doing this process there.
