cab files not executing
im running jds rom and when i sync cab filkes over they arent be recognized as cab files. internet programs like live seach and gps today are working but not ppc geek cabs. like music id that i got and ran on an old rom an hour agao

Are you sure you are downloading cabs and not OEM's?

yeah i just posted that im thininng its becasue his rom is so barebones and when i flashed vetvitos rom it was recognized as a zip file.

i see that now is it tough to get zip into jds or is it easier to chasnge zip to rar

A cab file has to be unzipped before it can be installed. Just unzip it on your PC then place it on the device or SD card for install. There are zip programs to unzip files after they are on te device but it is just as easy to unzip then transfer to device. It is not a ROM problem.

ha im so focused on rar files now i diont even think of unzipping them on my pc. brain dead. thanks medic. 41 thanks for you now
